June 2003 Newsletter

Hello Again

Can you believe that we are in the sixth month of 2023. Doesn’t it seem like the New Year was just last week? What’s happening in your neck of the woods? Let’s hope it’s not a troubling time of life. We’ve had enough of those to last a lifetime.

I am still working on Christian content books that will bless, inform and deliver those who read them. If you haven’t as yet read one of my books, please do. I am getting lots of good reviews. I now have over 25 books on my website, www.marinellichristianbooks.com. Pick a book, read it and pass it on to someone else. Then eMail me at [email protected] and let me know what you thought about the book you read. I always enjoy feedback even if it’s not good.

My newest book, “Fighting The Good Fight of Faith” Is now in print and ready for your review. It’s all about walking by faith, fighting against evil forces and winning the battle. It’s all based upon Bible truth and supported with scripture references.

Music-By-Bart—every Monday afternoon from 1-4 PM at Mc Calls in Spanish Springs. Come join us. Also at The Pub on Wednesdays from 5-8 pm. Come out and sing a song or listen to those that sing every week. They are really good. It’s always a fun time.

If you are going and want one or more of my books, let me know and I will bring them with me. I offer my VIPs a flat $10 per book.

Bible Questions…I’d love to answer your Bible questions. As I said in last month’s newsletter, I don’t know everything but what I am not sure of I can look up in reference books and theological volumes. I will not reveal your name as the one asking the question unless you tell me it’s ok. Email your questions to me at [email protected].

A final thought & Poem

Fragile Flower Red
By John Marinelli

As a flower in earthen sod,
I bloom for thee, oh God.
To blossom with the turn of spring;
To be to you, a beautiful thing.

I lift my Fragile Flower Red
Upward from my earthen bed;
To draw light from God above,
Strength and peace and joy and love.

As a flower, I bloom for thee
That passersby may stop and see.
Your fragrance and beauty I am,
Flowered in grace as a man.

As a flower in earthen sod,
I bloom for thee, oh God.
Upward, I lift my head,
As a Fragile Flower Red.

“Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed, by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

When we look to God as our source, we blossom, much like a flower that draws light from the sun. When we blossom, like a flower, we display the glory and beauty of our creator to all who care to stop and look. This is our divine destiny.

Well, that’s all for this month.

Until next time

April 2023 Newsletter

Hello again. It’s April 2023. Here’s what’s happening.

Two more great titles…I have finished two more books that will be released in May. The first is titled, “Fighting The Good Fight of Faith” This is a guide to spiritual warfare. You will come face-to-face with the enemy of your soul and learn how to fight the good fight of faith.

I have identified the reason for the war, the location of the battle, the weapons needed to win and the strategy necessary to become a victorious Christian.

This is an easy read with many Bible references and spiritual insights. It is written as an instructional guide with the child of God in mind. Its purpose is to equip the church in its walk with God and the never-ending fight against Satanic attacks. There is also a brief look at the authority of the believer.

My second book is titled, The Return of Jesus Christ To Planet Earth” It is a Biblical study of end time events and those who are involved.

I will be discussing:
The sings of his coming; The Anti-Christ; The Beast and False Profit; False Christians and Religions >The number 666 and its significance; The men through the ages that have claimed to be Jesus Christ; The little anti-Christ that are in the world today; The Biblical prophecies related to the time of his coming; The rapture of the church and its three schools of thought; The things we should be doing while we wait for his coming; Those that will be saved and those that will be damned; The final battle and the final judgment of mankind; The 7-year tribulation and how to avoid the wrath of God that will fall upon the wicked.

I also added a section of selected Christian Poems for the encouragement of the reader. The King James Bible will be used to validate scripture references and beliefs.

Both books will sell on the worldwide market for $14.95 each. Look for them on my website. They can be purchased through Amazon or any other on-line book seller.

Music-By-Bart-–every Monday afternoon from 1-4 PM at Mc Calls in Spanish Springs. Come join us. Also, at The Pub on Wednesdays from 5-8 pm.

Best Sellers…Three books have risen to the,” Best Seller” category. I now have 23 books on the international market. All can be purchased online at most online booksellers. The three books are, “The Life and Destiny of The God-Man”, Heaven, Hell & Beyond and “How To Be Happy.” Among all my books, these are the best sellers.

Children’s Books…I have one children’s book of over 50 story poems. It is called, “Original Story Poems for Children of All Ages”. Then I have two illustrated children’s stories set to rhyme. They are “An Elephant Named Clyde” and “Mister Tugboat.” They are also in high demand and available on my website, www.marinellichristianbooks.com.

A celebration of life…I want to thank everyone for their condolences at the passing of my mother. She died on April 30 at 2:30 pm. She lived eight months past 100 years. Her life was a blessing to me and my siblings. She was married during WWII and actually out lived her husband, aunts, daughter, several brothers and all of her childhood friends. The one thing that made her life stand out above the rest was her faith in God and her belief in Jesus as her personal savior. She is now with him in Glory. We will miss her but give thanks for her life and testimony.

Bible Questions…I’d love to answer your Bible questions. I don’t know everything but what I am not sure of I can look up in reference books and theological volumes. I will not reveal your name as the one asking the question unless you tell me it’s ok. Email your questions to me at [email protected].

Perspective…A perspective is a viewpoint. It is how you feel or think about any given matter. There is a great Bible truth that operates on perspectives. It is found in Romans. “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

Christianity is all about transformation from worldliness to Godly. All you have to do is renew your mind. The trick is to change your thinking from one perspective to another thereby renewing your mind. That action will transform you from darkness into light. Here’s an example:

There was a time when I was a liberal Christian. I believed that abortion was ok. I didn’t consider that abortion was actually the killing of an unborn child. I believed that it was a woman’s right. This was my viewpoint, my perspective. Lots of folks still believe that way.

Then I began to seriously think about it. I considered the unborn life of the animals and saw that many of the governments of the world protected some with a special “endangered species” category. Their eggs were valued and protected. However, the human egg was not.

I also realized that life was in the egg and if allowed to develop would produce life in accordance with its species whether bird, reptile, beast or human. My thinking began to change based upon the facts. I could even see the life of my first child developing in the womb with the use of a sonagram. I could actually hear his heartbeat. I actually saw the miracle of life being fashioned in the womb.

Long story short, I shifted my belief system from pro-choice to pro-life. In doing so I had unconsciously renewed by mind. My perspective changed and it actually transformed me from liberal to conservative. That was over 55 years ago, and I am stronger in my faith that ever before.

What you believe does in fact shape you thinking. The great king Solomon tells us, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he” Proverbs 23:7 We are what we think. The apostle Paul tells us,” Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8

Maybe it’s time to shift your thinking and take unto yourself a new perspective.

Until next time

About God, A “Bible Time” MP3

Some people do not like God. They even display hate for the things of God and those that believe in Him. Many even blame God for all the bad things that happen in life. I hear it all the time about someone’s friend or family member dieing and their family quickly says that it was God’s fault. However, the Bible says that God is love. Who are we to believe? Is it those around us that express hate and badmouth God or is it the Word of God that tells us that God is a loving God and He does not put sickness or suffering upon those who trust in Him? Listen to my podcast under, “Bible Time” Here’s the link. Maybe it will clarify things and be of help.

 “I AM” There

“I AM” There,
At the end of your broken dreams,
Before the sun rises over your day,
Prior to those tear-filled streams.

“I AM” There,
Down that road of despair,
When all seems to be lost,
And no one seems to care.

“I AM” There,
Over all of life’s twists and turns,
When tomorrow is all but gone,
And when you are full of concerns.

“I AM” There,
Sayeth the Lord of Host,
To bring you hope and peace,
And the power of my Holy Ghost.

“I AM” There,
To be sure you make it through,
In the midst of every trial,
To bless your life and deliver you.

“I AM” There

Book Of The Month

Believing GOD” is the true story of Marilyn Marinelli. It is a record of her walk of faith during a time of suffering and pain. It was also a time of cleansing. “Believing GOD” is like a diary that offers a window into the life of a follower of Jesus whereby the reader can observe, and learn how to believe.

This book also has a special “Gallery of Poems” that was written by the author over the past 20- years as she communed with God and experienced fellowship with Christ. They are inspired by the Holy Spirit and presented as a source of encouragement.

Troubling Times, My Opinion Editorial

The events of the past few months have devastated America and I don’t mean “Climate Change.” Joe Biden left Americans behind in Afghanistan with more than 10,000 NATO allies. He closed the Canadian boarder but refuses to close the Southwest boarder. He allowed Russia to complete their pipeline but shut down ours causing higher prices at the gas pumps. He paid the boarder wall contractors to not finish building the wall that caused a national boarder crisis that allowed five times the number of illegal migrants to enter the US in March alone than the year before, more than 172,000 in one month. Thanks to Biden’s border wall obstruction; smugglers are exploiting gaps in the wall that were previously set to be built. More drugs, more human trafficking, more evil has come to our doorstep. The list of Biden failures grows day by day. Now he is trying to take away our right to buy and keep firearms through a global registration.

Biden is suppose to be the head/leader of this country but shows no leadership or ability to stand up for its citizenry.

So what do we do as Christians? Psalm 104:6-8 says, “Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”

It’s past time for the children of men to cry unto the Lord for deliverance from the Biden administration and the Socialist agenda of the Democratic Party. That’s my opinion and I will stick to it. I will cry unto the Lord but I will also put feet to my prayers by going to the polls in the mid-term elections and vote against those who are seeking to turn my beloved nation into a socialistic society.

Articles

Over the years, Marilyn and I have written many articles on Christian subjects. I added them to our website as a resource for our subscribers. There’s about 40 articles that can be downloaded free of charge. The topics range from discussions on Heaven and Hell to The Rapture of the Church. Also included are: The End of the World, Animals in the Resurrection, Spiritual Warfare, How To Walk In The Spirit and many more. Here’s the link, Articles – Marinelli Christian Books
