Hello Again
Can you believe that we are in the sixth month of 2023. Doesn’t it seem like the New Year was just last week? What’s happening in your neck of the woods? Let’s hope it’s not a troubling time of life. We’ve had enough of those to last a lifetime.
I am still working on Christian content books that will bless, inform and deliver those who read them. If you haven’t as yet read one of my books, please do. I am getting lots of good reviews. I now have over 25 books on my website, www.marinellichristianbooks.com. Pick a book, read it and pass it on to someone else. Then eMail me at [email protected] and let me know what you thought about the book you read. I always enjoy feedback even if it’s not good.
My newest book, “Fighting The Good Fight of Faith” Is now in print and ready for your review. It’s all about walking by faith, fighting against evil forces and winning the battle. It’s all based upon Bible truth and supported with scripture references.
Music-By-Bart—every Monday afternoon from 1-4 PM at Mc Calls in Spanish Springs. Come join us. Also at The Pub on Wednesdays from 5-8 pm. Come out and sing a song or listen to those that sing every week. They are really good. It’s always a fun time.
If you are going and want one or more of my books, let me know and I will bring them with me. I offer my VIPs a flat $10 per book.
Bible Questions…I’d love to answer your Bible questions. As I said in last month’s newsletter, I don’t know everything but what I am not sure of I can look up in reference books and theological volumes. I will not reveal your name as the one asking the question unless you tell me it’s ok. Email your questions to me at [email protected].
A final thought & Poem
Fragile Flower Red
By John Marinelli
As a flower in earthen sod,
I bloom for thee, oh God.
To blossom with the turn of spring;
To be to you, a beautiful thing.
I lift my Fragile Flower Red
Upward from my earthen bed;
To draw light from God above,
Strength and peace and joy and love.
As a flower, I bloom for thee
That passersby may stop and see.
Your fragrance and beauty I am,
Flowered in grace as a man.
As a flower in earthen sod,
I bloom for thee, oh God.
Upward, I lift my head,
As a Fragile Flower Red.
“Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed, by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
When we look to God as our source, we blossom, much like a flower that draws light from the sun. When we blossom, like a flower, we display the glory and beauty of our creator to all who care to stop and look. This is our divine destiny.
Well, that’s all for this month.
Until next time
John Marinelli, Author & Poet
